PROJECT DETAILS:

The outpatient center acts as a first-of-its-kind building for the healthcare system serving residents of the northern Boston suburbs close to home with a patient-centered medical home model. This model houses a range of professionals under one roof to weave together every aspect of patient care. Professionals include physicians, nurses, nutritionists, and social workers among others who are physically brought together through the design of the building's inner core. Twenty exam rooms surround the core assisting the delivery of primary care, specialty care, physical therapy, lab work, x-rays, and more. The healthcare building embodies convenience, accessibility, and wellbeing through its central location near residential homes and public transportation, natural design elements, and a vast amount of natural light.
